Recap: Crothersville Tigers vs. Medora Hornets
The Crothersville Tigers lost against the Medora Hornets back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Crothersville took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Medora.
Crothersville lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jo jo Clay, who scored 16 points. Brooklyn Bottorff was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Crothersville has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Medora, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crothersville won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Austin at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Austin presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Crothersville in Indiana (Austin is ranked 75th, while Crothersville is ranked 378th). As for Medora, they will head out on the road to square off against Shoals at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
