Basketball Game Preview: Pandora-Gilboa Rockets vs. McComb Panthers

Pandora-Gilboa hasn't had much luck against McComb recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Pandora-Gilboa Rockets will head out to take on the McComb Panthers at 7:30 p.m.

Last Saturday, 2025 welcomed Pandora-Gilboa with a 51-29 loss courtesy of Bluffton.

Meanwhile, McComb waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Rams 62-31. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

McComb is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Pandora-Gilboa, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Pandora-Gilboa lost to McComb on the road by a decisive 54-35 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Pandora-Gilboa avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
