Elmwood Park scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were outmatched by the Streamwood Sabres and fell 62-22. The Tigers lost against the Sabres in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 40-21 score last time.

Despite the loss, Elmwood Park still got an impressive performance from Daniel Dohoney, who rushed for 104 yards and one TD on only nine carries, and also threw for 74 yards and one touchdown on only five passes. The Tigers' leading receiver Anthony Chillis was Dohoney's top target yet again, picking up 74 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 64 yards and one touchdown.

Elmwood Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Streamwood, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Coming up, Elmwood Park is taking a road trip to face off against Ridgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Streamwood, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against West Aurora at 7:00 p.m. The Blackhawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Sabres surely won't give up without a fight.
