Football Recap: Mid-Carolina Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Mid-Carolina's offense. They took a blow against the Newberry Bulldogs on Friday, falling 45-0. If the Rebels were looking for revenge after losing 41-3 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mid-Carolina's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Newberry, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Mid-Carolina will look to defend their home field on Friday against Whitmire at 7:30 p.m. As for Newberry, they will head out on the road to challenge Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
