Basketball Recap: Nuview Bridge Comes Up Short

Nuview Bridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Santa Rosa Academy Rangers, falling 67-39. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-20.

Nuview Bridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Santa Rosa Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nuview Bridge will take on San Jacinto Valley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nuview Bridge is facing San Jacinto Valley Academy at the right time seeing as San Jacinto Valley Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Santa Rosa Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Temecula Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Santa Rosa Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Temecula Prep likes a good challenge.
