Basketball Recap: Rhinelander Takes a Loss

Rhinelander has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 70-62 to the Antigo Red Robins on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Hodags came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Red Robins are ranked 253rd).

Rhinelander's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Antigo, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Rhinelander will head out to square off against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Rhinelander is facing Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln at the right time seeing as Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Antigo, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Shawano Community at 7:15 p.m.
