Volleyball Recap: Metamora Takes a Loss

Metamora lost against Limestone back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redbirds fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Metamora sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-17, 19-25, 25-7.

Metamora has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-11 record this season. As for Limestone, their victory bumped their record up to 27-1.

Metamora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Normal University on the 20th. As for Limestone, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Illinois Valley Central on the 18th.
