Basketball Recap: Richmond Takes a Loss

Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 68-41 loss at the hands of the Warren Central Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Warriors are ranked 22nd).

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Warren Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Richmond will take on Lafayette Jefferson at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Warren Central, they will face off against Carmel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Carmel has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight losses, while Warren Central will come in with five straight wins.
