Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Miami). They blew past the Miami Springs Golden Hawks, posting a 49-17 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cobras as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

South Miami's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Miami Springs, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

South Miami will head out on the road to take on Reagan at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Reagan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Miami Springs, they will challenge Carol City on Tuesday. Miami Springs is facing Carol City at the right time seeing as Carol City is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
