Baseball Recap: Jackson Center Comes Up Short

Jackson Center managed to slip by Troy Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Eagles on Friday, falling 10-0. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2021.

Jackson Center saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preston Serr, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Jackson Center's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Troy Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Jackson Center is taking a road trip to challenge Fort Loramie at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Troy Christian has already played their next contest (against Lehman Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
