Eureka is 9-1 against Wells since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Eureka Vandals will head out on the road to face off against the Wells Leopards at 7:30 p.m.

Eureka is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Lund just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 47-44.

Meanwhile, Wells hadn't done well against Jackpot recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Wells strolled past Jackpot with points to spare, taking the game 42-24.

Eureka's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 14-6. As for Wells, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-12.

Eureka was able to grind out a solid victory over Wells in their previous meeting back in January, winning 54-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eureka since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
