Soccer Recap: Westwood Takes a Loss

Westwood lost against Blythewood back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Westwood Redhawks lost 12-0 to the Blythewood Bengals. The Redhawks just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Blythewood, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Westwood will venture away from home to face off against White Knoll at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westwood has given up an average of 5 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Blythewood, they will be playing at home against Irmo at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Blythewood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
