Volleyball Recap: Temescal Canyon Extends Winning Streak to Three

Temescal Canyon had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Tahquitz. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Temescal Canyon was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 25-4.

Jalen Bennett paced Temescal Canyon's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bennett got some help from Joshua Strange and his 16 assists. Bennett also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Lucas Burton, racking up four apiece.

Temescal Canyon pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Tahquitz, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Temescal Canyon is set to face off against their familiar foe West Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Tahquitz will take on rival San Jacinto at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
