Ashbrook and Huss are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Greenwave will venture away from home to challenge the Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Ashbrook took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Crest a 3-0 shutout. The score was close at halftime, but Ashbrook pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit Crest with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Miguel Saldarriaga, Aiden Fadel, and Roosevert Norveus.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Huss made sure to put some goals up on the board against Kings Mountain on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Mountaineers with a sharp 4-0 win. Considering Huss' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Huss moved to 5-6-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Ashbrook, their win bumped their record up to 3-11-1.
