After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Riley Ferguson to
Steven Scherban in the first quarter,
Butler (Matthews, N.C.) led 28-0 at the half.
The Bulldogs expanded their lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. Butler scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Ferguson to
Cadarius Harrison.
BHS had given up an average of 5.9 points prior to the contest.
The defeat comes as a step back for West Forsyth, which notched a 50-7 victory over R.J. Reynolds in its previous outing.
