Basketball Recap: Eagle Academy Comes Up Short

Eagle Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the KIPP Newark Lab Sharks and fell 58-29. That's two games in a row now that Eagle Academy has lost by exactly 29 points.

Eagle Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for KIPP Newark Lab, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eagle Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Eagle Academy their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, KIPP Newark Lab will take on rival Golda Och Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
