Flag Football Recap: Paramount Comes Up Short

The Paramount Pirates came up short against the Burroughs Bears on Tuesday and fell 13-6. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was Karisma Mendez, who threw for 160 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 66 yards on only seven carries. That's the most rushing yards she has posted since back in August.

Paramount's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Burroughs, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Paramount will challenge rival La Mirada at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Burroughs is set to take on their familiar foe Providence at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
