Mt. Hope won the last time they faced Scituate, and Maleaq Roderick did his part to make sure it happened again. The Mt. Hope Huskies snuck past the Scituate Spartans with a 58-54 win on Monday thanks to Roderick, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (eight).

John Thompson was another key player, going 7-for-13 en route to 18 points and seven boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Mt. Hope has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for Scituate, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Mt. Hope didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-31 victory against Providence Country Day on the 12th. As for Scituate, they have also already played their next game, a 65-49 defeat against Ponaganset on the 11th.
