Volleyball Recap: Crescenta Valley Takes a Loss

Crescenta Valley lost against Saugus back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Falcons fell just short of the Centurions by a score of 2-1.

Leading Saugus to victory were Bailey Posey and Emily Tran. Posey had ten assists and seven digs, while Tran had five digs and four aces. That's the most aces Tran has posted over her last six contests.

Crescenta Valley's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Saugus, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Crescenta Valley and Saugus will both be playing La Salle the next time they take the court. The Centurions will head out to face the Lancers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
