MacArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers, falling 18-8. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Generals' highest-scoring matchup to date.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Decatur Eisenhower, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

MacArthur has already played their next contest, a 17-1 defeat against Warrensburg-Latham on the 16th. Hopefully Decatur Eisenhower payed attention to the Generals' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Generals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
