Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Longview Christian). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 61-17 win over the Greenville Christian Eagles. Longview Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Longview Christian found their leader in sophomore Isabella Smith, who went 10 for 25 en route to 24 points in addition to seven boards and five steals. Smith continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Madi Newlin was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.

Longview Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Longview Christian pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.3 points per game. As for Greenville Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coincidentally, Longview Christian and Greenville Christian will both be playing Christian Heritage the next time they take the court. Longview Christian will head out to face Christian Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Greenville Christian will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
