Softball Recap: Ossining Pride vs. Scarsdale Raiders

Ossining had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Saturday they dropped down to 0-2 to make it five. They came up short against the Scarsdale Raiders, falling 18-4. The Pride were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Scarsdale's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Scarsdale's part, Leah Im spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. Im has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Scarsdale got a massive performance out of Jaden Hernandez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those RBI were Hernandez's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Unis, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.
