Alamo Navajo won the last time they faced Corona/Vaughn and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Alamo Navajo Cougars blew past the Corona/Vaughn Cardinals, posting a 71-26 victory. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 26 points or more this season.

Alamo Navajo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Scotty Guerro, who went 8-for-10 to rack up 20 points along with six boards and five assists. What's more, Guerro also posted an 80% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Tilial Secatero was another key player, going 7-for-9 on his way to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Alamo Navajo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 16 consecutive matches.

Alamo Navajo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.6 points over those games. Corona/Vaughn dropped their record down to 3-21 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Alamo Navajo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 99-64 win against Hondo Valley on the 27th. Corona/Vaughn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
