Volleyball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. James Monroe Mavericks

The Princeton Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the James Monroe Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Princeton sitting on four straight victories and James Monroe on eight.

On Tuesday, Princeton was able to grind out a solid win over Ripley, taking the game 2-0.

While Princeton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 29-27.

Meanwhile, James Monroe earned a 2-0 victory over Liberty on Saturday.

James Monroe's win bumped their record up to 20-7-1. As for Princeton, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9-2.

Princeton couldn't quite get it done against James Monroe in their previous matchup back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
