Basketball Recap: Prairie View Takes a Loss

Prairie View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They fell 44-36 to the Northglenn Norsemen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Norsemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-44 back in January.

Despite the loss, Prairie View still got an impressive performance from Elizabeth Scaff, who posted 18 points. That was a full 50% of Prairie View's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Prairie View's record is now 1-21. As for Northglenn, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prairie View will venture away from home to challenge Boulder at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northglenn, they will head out to face off against Fairview at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
