Volleyball Recap: Evant Comes Up Short

Evant saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rio Vista Eagles.

Evant's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rio Vista, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Evant will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Meridian at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Rio Vista, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Gustine on the 14th.
