Basketball Recap: Tintic Comes Up Short

Tintic was the 62-57 winner over Tabiona when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tintic Miners took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tabiona Tigers on Saturday.

Tabiona was led to victory by Gavin Rhoades and Bryson Fabrizio. Rhoades dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Fabrizio went 7-for-17 en route to 18 points in addition to six assists and five boards. Rhoades is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Cayse Thomas was another key player, putting up six points.

Tintic's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Tabiona, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-5.

As of now, neither Tintic nor Tabiona have any future games scheduled.
