Basketball Game Preview: Rancho Verde Mustangs vs. Orange Lutheran Lancers

The Rancho Verde Mustangs will take on the Orange Lutheran Lancers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Orange Lutheran will be up against a hot Rancho Verde team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Mustangs enjoyed a cozy 72-55 win over Beaumont on Saturday.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Orange Lutheran beat Austin Peace Academy 73-68 on Thursday.

Rancho Verde's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Orange Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Rancho Verde came out on top in a nail-biter against Orange Lutheran in their previous meeting back in December of 2017, sneaking past 54-52. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lancers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
