Volleyball Recap: Blue Earth Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Blue Earth lost against Luverne back in September of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buccaneers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals.

The final score came out to 25-17, 18-25, 25-15, 25-14.

Caitlin Eitzmann paced Blue Earth's offense, picking up seven kills. Eitzmann got some help from Taylor Ripley and her 20 assists. Eitzmann was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Blue Earth has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-18-2 record this season. As for Luverne, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-9.

Blue Earth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Waseca on the 2nd. As for Luverne, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton on the 3rd.
