Baseball Game Preview: Loving Falcons vs. Texico Wolverines

The Loving Falcons will challenge the Texico Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Texico took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Loving, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Loving turned things around against Jal on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 15-5 win. Considering the Falcons have won six games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Texico couldn't beat Eunice on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Wolverines lost 20-4 to the Cardinals. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Texico saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Bowman, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Loving's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Texico, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Loving came up short against Texico in their previous matchup on Tuesday, falling 14-10. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
