Basketball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant lost against Silver Creek back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals lost to the Silver Creek Raiders at home by a 62-47 margin. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Silver Creek, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Pleasant will take on Harbor at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Pleasant is facing Harbor at the right time seeing as Harbor is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Silver Creek, they will face off against James Lick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Silver Creek's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
