Basketball Recap: Lakewood Christian Takes a Loss

Lakewood Christian lost against Aspire HomeSchool back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lakewood Christian Lions had to suffer through a 49-13 loss at the hands of the Aspire HomeSchool Trailblazers. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Lakewood Christian and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Aspire HomeSchool, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakewood Christian will challenge Family of Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Family of Faith Christian's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Lakewood Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Aspire HomeSchool, they will square off against Crossover Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crossover Prep will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Aspire HomeSchool surely won't give up without a fight.
