Ripley took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Dyer County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Choctaws on Wednesday. Ripley's winning goal came courtesy of Ty Crawford.

Ripley's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8-2. As for Dyer County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11-3 record this season.

Ripley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dyer County, they will venture away from home to square off against Obion County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
