Volleyball Recap: Peninsula Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Peninsula lost against North Thurston back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Seahawks lost 3-0 to the Rams. The Seahawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-11.

North Thurston's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anna Sheeran led the charge by getting 15 digs. Sheeran is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Tiana Orffer was another key player, getting 11 assists and six digs.

Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for North Thurston, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 21-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Peninsula is set to face off against their familiar foe Lakes at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, North Thurston will take on rival River Ridge at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
