Sycamore had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They beat the West Creek Coyote by a goal, winning 3-2. Joshua Novotny had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Sycamore got from the refs.
