Volleyball Recap: Warrensburg Finds Home Court Redemption Against Benton

There's no place like home for Warrensburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Benton Cardinals on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Warrensburg got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 16-25, 25-19.

Warrensburg's win bumped their record up to 10-8-1. As for Benton, they dropped their record down to 4-11-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Warrensburg will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Lincoln College Prep at 6:30 p.m. As for Benton, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Lawson on the 30th.
