Softball Recap: Urbana Takes a Loss

After flying high against Heritage last Wednesday, Urbana came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 13-1 to the Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers on Thursday. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Urbana saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joceline Arreola, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Urbana's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Urbana will head out to take on Bloomington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, they will venture away from home to challenge Oakwood at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
