Basketball Recap: Port Edwards Takes a Loss

Port Edwards was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Tri-County Penguins, falling 54-34. The Blackhawks were probably out for revenge after losing 60-41 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Port Edwards' defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Tri-County, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-8.

While Port Edwards had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
