Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). They really took it to the East Hall Vikings for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-0 win. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Vikings are ranked 275th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the third in a row for Jefferson, bringing their record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.7 points over those games. As for East Hall, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Jefferson and East Hall will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Dragons see the field they'll take on Cherokee Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for East Hall, their break will end when they face West Hall at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
