Baseball Recap: Barnsdall Gets the Win

Barnsdall is still undefeated this season after their match against Rejoice Christian on Tuesday, but Rejoice Christian came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Barnsdall Panthers came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Rejoice Christian Eagles. The eight-run effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Barnsdall pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Rejoice Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Coming up, Barnsdall will venture away from home to square off against Dewar at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Dewar's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Rejoice Christian, they will be playing at home against Ketchum at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Ketchum will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Rejoice Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
