Softball Recap: Silver Creek Black Knights vs. Brocton Bulldogs

In what's become a running theme this season, Silver Creek gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They never let the Brocton Bulldogs onto the board and left with a 13-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for Silver Creek who now have five in a row.

Maddie Blair made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Blair has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Blair was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Silver Creek got a massive performance out of Kyla Ziegler, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Molly Becker, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
