Baseball Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short

Juniata Valley hit Glendale with a four-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings lost 10-3 to the Hornets. The Vikings have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Levi Hamilton was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Brody Matish also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Juniata Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
