Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mize). They blew past the Taylorsville Tartars 26-4 on Monday. The Bulldogs have beaten the Tartars the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tartars has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on AK Easterling, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. Kate Sullivan was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Mize hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in three consecutive matchups.

Mize's record now sits at 8-5. As for Taylorsville, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-11.

Coincidentally, Mize and Taylorsville will both be playing Raleigh the next time they take the field. Taylorsville will host Raleigh at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Mize will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
