Basketball Recap: Nettleton Gets the Win

West Side typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Nettleton proved too difficult a challenge. They slipped by the West Side Eagles 58-57. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Raiders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Eagles are ranked sixth).

The win (which was Nettleton's third in a row) raised their record to 6-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for West Side, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-2.

Nettleton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-64 victory against Mountain View on the 14th. West Side has also already played their next contest, an 81-54 win against Manila on the 14th.
