Soccer Recap: Strasburg Comes Up Short

Strasburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Central Woodstock Falcons. That's two games in a row now that Strasburg have lost by exactly two goals.

Strasburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Central Woodstock, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Strasburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Stonewall Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Central Woodstock will square off against rival Page County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
