Basketball Recap: Madison Central Comes Up Short

Madison Central lost against Lexington Catholic back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Madison Central Indians took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lexington Catholic Knights.

Madison Central's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Lexington Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Coming up, Madison Central will challenge Mercer County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mercer County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Madison Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lexington Catholic, they will be playing at home against Lexington Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
