Basketball Recap: Kenton Takes a Loss

Kenton was the 49-29 winner over Liberty-Benton when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 54-46 to the Eagles on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 348th, while the Eagles are ranked 66th).

This is the second loss in a row for Kenton and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Liberty-Benton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Kenton will be home for the holidays to greet Ottawa-Glandorf at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Liberty-Benton, they will head out to take on Vanlue at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
