Soccer Recap: Norfolk Academy Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

After failing to score in their last match, Norfolk Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Cape Henry Collegiate on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Dolphins a 6-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Summer Fine as she scored three goals for her team.

Norfolk Academy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five contests. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-2.

Coincidentally, Norfolk Academy and Cape Henry Collegiate will both be playing Catholic the next time they take the pitch. The Bulldogs will host the Crusaders at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Dolphins will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
