Basketball Recap: Bozeman Bucks vs. Rocky Bayou Christian Knights
After flying high against the Crossroad Academy Scorpions last Tuesday, the Bozeman Bucks came back down to earth. Bozeman fell to the Knights 46-40. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Bozeman of the 35-24 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2022.
Bozeman lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Skyler Scott, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Lillian Leonard, who scored 12 points.
Bozeman dropped their record down to 9-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Bozeman will face off against the Tigers at TBD on Monday. Malone is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, they and the Bulldogs will face off on February 7th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
