Mt. Vernon's loss came about despite a quality game from Aubry Dowling, who had 12 digs and one assist. Dowling is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.
Meanwhile, Shelbyville hadn't done well against Pendleton Heights recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Golden Bears blew past the Arabians 3-0.
